A Porn Poll after an interesting conversation with hubby

So we don't typically watch porn. Why? I don't know, I guess I don't feel like it's necessary to warm me up, I don't have a lot of extra time, and my kids are around all the time. If my hubby grabs me and starts to make out with me like we're teenagers, that's enough for me at this point.
But we were having a conversation about porn recently and he revealed that he would rather read porn stories than watch porn on a video. I thought this was fascinating and it made me curious about other people's preferences. He also explained that there is a difference in the quality of the stories too just like the videos, which I had never considered (not ever reading them). He would rather read the erotica stories (better written, more thought, better storyline--his words, not mine) than the XXX hardcore stories.

I've been into porn since the days of Playboy and Penthouse. I use to go to seedy theaters in Philly to get the moving picture version of porn - then it was on to VHS, DVD and finally the internet.

Although I occasionally visit Literotica, I don't read as much porn as I did in the days of Penthouse Letters. Reading those letters were essentially my sex education about what people did to keep their sex lives interesting and hot.

My wife has not enjoyed the genre - although she's a voracious consumer of 'mommy porn' audio books. Since we got married I have been her supplier of hard-core porn!

I spent a lot of time traveling - mostly on planes. I would write up various scenarios of things I'd like to do to spice things up.

When the traveling slowed down and internet porn blossomed, I started creating x-rated 'greeting' cards to give her - but they were all snapshots.

To get some action into the mix I create PowerPoint presentations using GIFs from various sites - Tumblr (before they shut down adult content) and now from BDSMLR.

On the occasional Saturday evening she'll come up to my computer and fire up a few PPTs 'for inspiration'. When that happens, I know I'm in for an exciting evening of debauchery! less

My husband is REALLY INTO BOOBIES!!!! and @Happily Married, little sex but it's OK -- PICTURES are what he likes!!! He can look at boob pictures all day long but after a while, it starts to get on my nerves. I told him that as many sex stories as he has read, he should be able to write them now. He won't even try to write any!! I think he would be good at it! (by the way, he is the one that calls them "boobies". Not me) less
