I've become really intrigued by the whole Shock Therapy concept. From what I understand, it isn't a painful shock, more so muscle contractions caused by electric current. I already picked what kit I would get if I decided to try (Fetish Fantasy Series Shock Therapy Kit, with the sticky pads). Problem is, I'm quite intimidated. I've had a TENS unit used on my shoulders and stuff before, so I know that it's not painful as long as you take it easy on the intensity. Just don't know if the sensations would be pleasant on my delicate bits. Another problem is that my boyfriend has absolutely no interest in trying, or even being there when I try. So is this the kind of thing you can administer to yourself? Or do the shocks make it difficult to use the controller and everything? Any opinions or suggestion are greatly appreciated.

Sounds kind of hot, seeing as muscle contractions are what cause orgasm. ;D But I don't know anything about it!

I don't see why you couldn't use it on yourself. In fact, you are the best judge of what level of shock is most pleasant. My husband uses a TENS unit for his back pain, and he has no trouble controlling the unit while using it. I would think the Fetish Fantasy unit would be no issue.

I haven't tried delicate bits yet, but I really enjoy this thing, especially on my butt. The lower intensities are barely there. Play around with it on other spots so you can get familiar with it.
This is totally something you can use by yourself. I've used it on my arms and I've been fine with controlling the unit and everything. No one else I know wants to try it because they think it's scary, but the lowest intensity is super low. I can barely feel it. It really is a beginner leap into electro play.

Great question, I would like to know more about it too. If you do try it out, let us know how it goes

I've had a violet wand used on me, and it was positively orgasmic.
I've also had a similar unit with pads used on my back for medical reasons, and it feels so very good. It was quite mild on the low setting.
