Best bondage for a contortionist?

True Shibari (Japanese rope bondage) can be tailored to the flexibility of the partner but takes a lot of knowledge to do safely and ropes can't always be sanitized if you don't have a dedicated partner. The other option that I can readily see is metal. This can be sanitized and a securely attached spreader bar would be hard to escape from.
