I read a lot of kinky blogs and such, and it seems that a huge number of people realized at an early age that certain things aroused them because of a certain movie they saw. I've heard of everything from Aladdin to Exit to Eden, and was wondering: did you have the same experience with a movie making you aware of your kinky side? And if so, what was it?
Did a movie make you realize that you were kinky at an early age?

I find it hard to come up with specific examples at the moment, but there seem to be a fair number of scenes in otherwise family-friendly scifi/adventure where shirtless dudes get tied up/flogged/otherwise tortured.

It wasn't really movies for me, but I grew up watching a lot of Looney Toons and stuff where someone was always getting tied up or something to that extent. I had a fascination with it before I even had the slightest idea what it was. It's really kind of embarrassing looking back on it because as kids tend to be, I wasn't exactly quiet about how cool I thought it was...

I agree with both of you on this. Sometimes it's hard to come up with specific examples, but a lot of the "peril" situations in movies or television aimed towards kids seem to have bondage involved, and maybe even whipping and punishments too. It creates a climate where children are interested in a way that they don't even understand yet.

Does Rocky Horror count? =P

That weird Porky Pig episode where he gets captured by the fish. That was the first time I was ever aroused... 0_o;;

Hmm yes it was not the fact that I wanted to engage in any BDSM play- it was the specific character I was attracted to, which I would rather not mention here

i know there were some questionable cartoons when i was a kid, but i can't remember any specifics. i can still get a tiny bit turned on from unexpected bondage-esque movie scenes, like (this is embarrassing but...) the scene in the last toy story movie where buzz is tied up and interrogated

Er... super-embarrassing, and dating me a bit here, but the bit in the reboot of Doctor Who where the Ninth Doctor is beaten in the episode "Dalek" definitely turned my crank. I was thinking about it for weeks. (And I finally rewatched it later and... not actually super-erotic for me, just the memory was enough.) Later found out that apparently some group was outraged by what they saw as a pornographic, sadomasochistic torture scene... welp.
