Disguising suspension/bondage hooks

Contributor: Armsjlove Armsjlove
Please forgive me if this has been discussed already, I couldn't find a similar post in the forums.

A lot has been said about where to store toys and how to keep them away from wandering eyes. What I haven't been able to find a lot of information on is how to disguise wall-mounted (anchored) suspension hooks/ eyehooks to attach bondage gear to. We'd like to anchor 2-4 heavy duty eyehooks at 18-24 inches (or higher) above the headboard on our bed. The only thing we can come up with is mounting a deep shelf over the hooks (think box valance type), or some sort of quilt display rack over them so the hooks are then covered by the quilt/wallhanging.

Do any of you have any other creative ideas? ~ Arms

That would work, or you could put a narrow decorative thing hanging from the hooks (framed picture or similar).

Thanks for the input, Scott. You've inspired us to take a long, hard look at some very heavy duty (decorative!) drapery brackets and rod at our local home improvement store. We need 'somewhere' to conveniently store an extra quilt over our headboard. ~ Arms

You could also use it to suspend a couple of decorative candle holders depending on how far out they protrude.
