Do you ever play drunk

Just curious, does anyone partake in BDSM activities while drunk?

We have played while slightly buzzed(a drink or two), but never when either of us were actually drunk.

No, I don't, I wouldn't, and I wouldn't recommend it. In addition to the obvious safety hazards when playing drunk, I much prefer being able to sense and appreciate every detail of a scene, which simply wouldn't happen if I were drunk.

Safety is one place that I get to be a stickler for rules. I never play drunk and it makes me very uncomfortable when friends even tell stories about drinking and playing. Two reasons: I don't want anyone to get hurt, and I don't want anyone to do something that they don't really want to do.

I will say there's a difference between having a couple beers and getting trashed. There are also different types of play. If I got tipsy with my boyfriend and he wanted to spank me, that would be alright. If he wanted to cane me, tie me up, or gag me, those would be bad ideas.

I have never played drunk but I have played buzzed, though he was sober. However the play was very light. Spanking, holding me down with his hands, hair pulling and such. He kept checking in with me during the whole thing to make sure I was still comfortable with how things where going as well.

Afterwards he said that he wouldn't do it again because he was worried about my safety because I wasn't totally aware of things in my state.

Nope. I wouldn't either because BDSM is walking an emotional line, and drinking makes me less able to rationalize, so it wouldn't be wise. Also the obvious safety issues.
