Just the thought of sounding, whether it's male or female, makes me uncomfortable. I'm not sure why, but it sort of makes my skin crawl.. It's like when my husband tries to stick his finger in my belly button or in his; it makes me feel all wriggly and sick for no reason.

No way! Has never intrigued me at all so I have no desire to try it myself. I'm all for indulging in my partner's kinks but this is off the table purely for safety reasons alone.

I'm curious, but falling more towards the "probably wouldn't do it" side. Sounds too risky unless you're in a medical type environment, and I'm not really a fan.

Seems like all the posts are on the nay side of things. How sad! I think sounding is fabulous personally.
The safety piece is certainly a factor though. I'm super scared of UTIs, so I make sure I clean everything really really good, and only use lube without glycerin. I also only insert flexible things, like silicone sounds or slivers of ginger (don't knock it til you've tried it).

I'm actually decently big on male sounding, but as a currently female bodied person, I have to say that I have tried it and enjoyed it! It's a sensation like you've (probably) never felt before, just be educated and safe about it.

I'd give it a try if I could be reasonably sure everything was sterile and preferably flexible. I hate UTIs so I wouldn't want to try it in less than sterile circumstances.

This just freaks me out. I couldn't do it, and I'm pretty open to kinkiness. I mean, I never say never (well, unless it involves animals, poop, vomit, children, unwilling participants or dead people, anyway), but it would take a LOT of convincing for me to try that.
