Good source for unscented candles for wax play?

Contributor: Kallisto Kallisto
I'm interested in trying wax play, but it seems that all the candles I can find are scented. Unfortunately I cannot tolerate scented stuff.

Can anyone recommend a good source for an appropriate unscented candle? Would a regular unscented soy candle be appropriate?

Thanks in advance for any advice you can give for selecting something appropriate and safe.

I typically just make my own soy candles. I would agree that those are the best to use for play anyway, and they can be unscented.

Thanks! I had not thought of making my own.

The best resource I've found has been the 'saint' candles that you find in the Hispanic sections of the grocery stores. They come in a bunch of colours, don't seem to burn too hot, and are relatively inexpensive.
