How did your safe word originate?

If you have a silly safe word, how did you decide that would be the one? Our's is "banana" because it probably won't be used in regular play, it's easy to say, can't be mistaken for another word. Does your safe word have a funnier origin?

My boyfriend and I have contemplated safe words at two different opportunities - once on the phone, once while in bed together. Both times, we just threw out whatever words we thought of, and whichever ones made us laugh the hardest won. May or may not have ended up quoting Monty Python while coming up with safe words...

Ahhh, I used to write a lot of erotica and in one of the stories, the safe word was Mad Hatter because the character had a thing for Alice in Wonderland. Well, I shared it with my Dominant and one thing led to another so White Rabbit is our safe word.

Or bunny.
