I've never participated in bondage with anyone before, but I have fantasized and masturbated to the tune so I am eager to try it. I'm a female rookie at sex and I have a fairly new male lover, whom is always a gentleman in bed. How should I introduce these kinds of desires to him? I want him to take control and tie me up and have rough sex, but I'm afraid that if he isn't into this he may get the wrong idea and think by rough I mean disrespectful... Is this just a silly fear? I think I'd just tell him 'I want you to take control and tie me up and have rough sex'. It's a fairly garden variety kink that I assume most people have had some exposure to, so he's probably not the fellow you want around if he's really judgemental or repulsed by it. I've found that it's a turn on for a lot of guys.

Given that you don't have much experience, you probably won't be going extreme immediately, so it could be an awesome way to learn about each other and grow.

When you talk about what you do want, it's also good to talk about what you don't want. For example, "disrespectful" could mean "I don't want you to call me names in bed" (which is one of my personal limits. A lot of people like it; I don't). A good partner should be willing to listen to you.

Take it slow. Talk about what you want to do. Communication is important. I started out with some fuzzy handcuffs, and we just expanded from that.
