I honestly didn't have time for me and what I wanted so I didn't really develop a desire for anything more then I had until recently when my hormones kicked into overdrive. Just really focused on me and what I need and want. But I'm still limited as the Hubby is only so tolerant in that department. I was very dominant in my last relationship (though, I sure had my moments of being dominated, just by the wrong type of person) & didn't realize how much I need to be sexually dominated to be truly sexually satisfied until my early-mid twenties. I'm a Virgo, so I always have to be in control, grew up hating feeling vulnerable, and it hasn't been so easy fully giving into this need. Well... it depends on how you cut it with me. I was playing games as a child that had kinky elements in them. Some of those were sexual but not all... But then there was a more conscious realization that I had a couple years ago about how I desire kinky sex. Even that though didn't start out with words or directly identifying my desires as "BDSM". It's just mysteries that continue to come out the further you unpack the box.
