Is there a beginner collar someone would suggest? I am looking at the sizes for my neck, but concerned about sensitivity. Thanks.

Most of the collars should work, either the specs or reviews should tell you what sizes they fit. As long as you leave it a bit loose, there shouldn't be any sensitivity. Fur collars are more comfortable, but can get warm. Leather collars are cooler, but can chafe if they're tight and get twisted around a lot.
