BDSM : Lifestyle or play?

My girlfriend and I also have a Dom/sub and Daddy/babygirl relationship; BDSM is a lifestyle for us, not just play. Though we can go without the D/s dynamics as well. :]

It's not our entire life, but it is a huge part that we couldn't do without.

In the bedroom I am submissive all the way. It does spill over into the rest of our lives as I am naturally submissive to him. I however have a very stressful job that requires me to be the dominant...Needless to say I am very grateful to get home at the end of the day!

I'm in a 24/7-ish d/s relationship.

While my pet and I aren't necessarily "strict" lifestyle, it still comes with us outside of the bedroom.

Play for me and my sub. He's not a full-time submissive, we're long-distance, and I don't want the responsibility of being a full-time Dom. Even in the bedroom, we're not always doing D/s play.

Just play. I could never do it as a lifestyle. Not having power play in non-sexual aspects of relationships is important to me.

My relationships have always limited it to play, but it's really hard for me to turn it off in real life.

It's part of my lifestyle, and I wouldn't have it any other way. It's become an integral part of what makes me ME.

I agree. I'm in a 24/7 relationship as well, though I think ours is unique in a lot of ways. I like it.
