Subspace is something that can't be forced (for me). And I recently found a new Dom after being with a different one for over a year. The first could put me into subspace pretty instantaneously, but we were a lot more 24/7.

Recently trying to explain what puts me there has been a challange that I didn't expect to face with my new Dom. Both of us have a few years under our belt, but we're bother different types of power exchange partners than either of us has had. (He's a sadist, I am primarily servicy. He was used to rope sluts, and I was used to very outlined list of expectations. etc etc.)

SO. Moral of the story. He got me into subspace 2 weeks ago, and it had been a good six months since I'd been there. It was the first time I needed aftercare. I was shaking, I was crying. He wasn't doing anything "hurty" or mean. He had me tied up and was teasing me, and talking to me. but it affected me. So I cried. He untied me, and I asked him to just hold me and not talk to me.

Sometimes subspace is this nice floaty sensation. Sometimes it touches parts of you that you don't want to admit.

Subdrop always sucks. It feels like PMS. And you don't always know what to do with that feeling. It's a sudden depression, and you have to find ways to cope. I find friends and cooking to be a good relaxer. And taking time in a vanilla headspace. less
