...where they are interviewing very "vanilla" seeming couples, who are all into BDSM, Dominance and other lifestyles? Will shows like this help make this lifestyle the next "mainstream" thing???
Anyone else watching the "50 Shades of Gray" show on TV...?

Are you referring to the one that was on Oprah (OWN)? If so it isn't a tv show, it was just a special for the night. I didn't see it but I heard it wasn't that good

Really? I don't know how to feel about anything inspired by 50 Shades of Grey, truth be told.

i think it's good to try to make things more acceptable, so that the millions of repressed people who have never explored these hidden urges in their own lives find the freedom to finally do so. mainstream...probably will fade out as a fad for the tourists. but, it will open doors for those truly into the lifestyle. whatever the case, helping people see sex, even "alternative" sex, as a normal and healthy thing is great. this country is too repressed, and i'd like to see that go away.

If i'm right, You were referring to the episode of Our America with Lisa Ling on OWN. my Mistress and i watched it and, although Wwe were disappointed that 24/7 kink couples/families/house holds were not included and Wwe felt that it really was only scratching the surface of kink, it definitely showed kink and BDSM in a favorable light and seemed really geared towards promoting open mindedness and acceptance. It was very well done, not threatening but very honest and realistic. Despite the 50 Shades-derivative title of the episode, it was a very good peak into the lifestyle and i really appreciated the tone of the piece.
