It depends on if you can stand the rubber taste/scent of the ball on the breathable one, the reviews mention it can be pretty unbearable.
Silicone has no taste or smell though so I'd go with a non-breathable one by Aslan or Sinvention (those two look the best on here IMO).

I'd lean towards a silicone ball gag, and probably a non-breathable one. I don't think a breathable one would have quite the same effect, and as long as whoever is wearing it can still breathe through their nose there really isn't an issue.

The breathable one, for me. I have severe allergy problems, and have trouble breathing through my nose. As a mouth breather, they really help.

I've always been able to breathe just fine, even with ones that aren't breathable. We just won't use them if I have a stuffy nose or some reason why I can't breathe through my nose.

Thanks everyone for the responses. I usually have a stuffy nose due to allergies, but maybe I will look into getting both. Then I can see which works best. Thanks again all the tips where great advice to point me in the right direction.

I don't know if this has ever been a factor for anyone else, but it has been for me - drool. Sometimes if you get into heated play and you start gasping for air from your mouth, (different gags, different amounts) you'll began to droll with a non-breathable ball gag.
