Just got mine or is it my wife's?

It looks great.

The smallest waist size is 30 & 1/2". The inside is lined with leather (stitched through & glued to the outside), the inside of the ruffles is the natural back (suede like). The leather, stitching, buckles and rivets all seem to be of high quality (even the pink bows are riveted). The thigh-straps are 3/4" wide while the waist straps are 1" wide both are over 1/16" thick. We have no worries about it holding up.
