I have the Goliath and the base is probably too small, thin, and floppy to work well in a harness.

You have a selection of much nicer dildos than harnesses.
For a dildo: If you're going to be using it anally on a guy (or anally on anyone) get a smooth dildo with a curve, such as the Sedux in your choice list.
