We have both - and use both. The wide falls of our thuddy flogger are great for turning wide swaths of skin red - good for the back and butt. We haven't tried it on the chest - but that's also a possibility (for the guy at least).
The stingy Pipedream Icicles #38 flogger is also great fun. She uses the stingy falls to great effect on me - and generally sue them to tease her nipples and vulva - no impacts for her.
As always - variety - all of the above
