They definitely don't tighten down as hard as screw-down style clamps, and are much more enjoyable for me to wear over the course of an hour or so. I consider the screw-downs to be more of a punishment device. As far as how tight they fit, I can tell you that if it's attached to the tip of my nipple then the ring can only slide up about a third of the way. If they are placed on the base of my nipple, the adjustment ring is only able slide up about half of an inch. I would definitely recommend tweezer clamps like these for someone starting out, I think you will find them very comfortable. Thanks for reading the review and for your question!

I don't have those specific clamps, though I do have a pair of tweezer clamps. I can wear them (and have them stay pretty well) without causing any pain at all -- in fact, sometimes I'll wear them just for the look. Then, when I want a pinch, I can tighten them.

Not too tight, and they are adjustable. I think I have pretty sensitive nipples and they weren't painful to me with the rubber pads on.

If it's tweezer clips, those can be adjusted easily to comfortable pinch. Hope they come back in stock soon.
