Sometimes the plastic coating on the clamps will adhere to the nipples. What's the best way to prevent that? And if they end up sticking, what's the best way to take them off without causing a lot of pain?

ouch! never had that happen. I guess lotion would not work because then they would slip off. Not sure. Hope someone has some good advice for you. I'm no help on this one.
