I always thought that a whip such as this is great for dragging softly and teasingly over the skin of your partner for sensory play but then kinda the kinky shock of getting whipped with it, however hard or soft is desired. I don't go too overboard on the spanking hard...kinky is fun but don't wanna actually inflict damage or lasting pain

Suede is the least painful material for a flogger. But it depends how you use it. If you drag it over her body it wont hurt. If you whip her clitoris is probably will hurt. Most toys can be sensual or painful.
