I think it depends mostly on my mood. I love being bound and more often than not Sir Phryxus will opt for shibari ties. The intricate tying usually involves arms, torso and legs so maybe I'm just used to being thoroughly restrained. I find getting off is never really a problem at that point.

I prefer to just have my hands/wrists restrained. Then again I have issues with my hips going out of place so it's not uncommon for me to have to move my legs and hips around a bit while doing things with my husband due to nerves getting pinched the wrong way or whatever.

I am with you. I love hands, arms, etc... bound but I get frustrated when he binds my ankles/legs. I like to wrap them around him and/or move my hips (a lot). If he is feeling wicked (aka mean) he uses 4 corner restraints and I am face down. I get really frustrated in this position.
