I am so hot for the idea of a strap on harness made with rope. I have ordered a couple rope tying books and I know they cover this topic. Now what I am wondering is if anyone has tried a rope harness on a biological man to create a kind of DIY Menage a trois for two harness? Pretty much strapping a dildo above my partners penis so we can do DP without the extra pair of legs I'd just LOVE to try this...it has got to be possible.

You certainly can - I'd recommend using flat webbing instead of rope and getting a real O-ring rather than trying to improvise with the rope.

I suggest a silicone or rubber o-ring, since it will be against your partner's skin. A metal o-ring may cut or pull on your partner's skin, and that will not be too much fun! So definitely go with rubber or silicone.

Nah, it'll be possibly against your skin since the dildo's base will be between it and your partner.

Look at the O-ring and make sure there aren't any edges that can cause problems.

That said I think I'd stick with the rubber/silicone recommendation. They're flexible, which makes it a bit easier to use the harness as well.

So in theory I could just find a rubber o-ring at a local hardware store? It has been a while since I used a strap on so I do not remember, you want one that is roughly the diameter or a little bigger than the dildo you're using? Probably a little bigger due to the rope going into the ring...?

Many hardware stores will have them, but make sure you get a heavy-duty model. You'll want it about 1/4" bigger than the dildo (in diameter) so that it's easy to insert the dildo.

It'd be possible, but unless he's experienced with cock rings, I'd avoid anything metal as a cock ring.

Definitely - you want something that you can get off relatively easily if you have to. Rubber can be cut with a pair of scissors, metal is much harder.

If you're not experienced I'd go with a velcro band (that's what I'd use to start anyway).

Yeah this is totally going down a different route now...but my guy is definitely squeemish about cock rings. He is kinda nervous about something squeezing his package like that I think.
