Safty issues with breast torture

Contributor: Loriandhubby Loriandhubby
Hello, I am very intrigued by the wraping of rope on the breasts. I have some concerns though. Most photos I see the breasts are all blue and purple looking. To me this is an indicator of lack of circulation. Is this dangerouse?

If you have any thoughs or exeriance with this pleases share your thoughts.

Thank you

Injuries or trauma to the breasts can cause cysts and it does increase the odds of breast cancer. I currently have 28 cysts in my right breast from being slammed on a steering wheel of my car during an accident. One is starting to change size and shape...my dr is going to remove it. Be careful and research the affects of damage and tissue stress to your breasts prior to voluntarily doing these actions.

I personally don't participate in any type of bondage that will deform or even temporarily hurt the structures inside my breasts (I've used nipple clamps, but only for short periods of time.) I'm a Lactation Consultant and am always aware of my breast health and have chosen to keep my breasts as safe as I can.

I know injuries to the breast can cause problem from milk supply issues to cysts and other issues later, so I've wanted to avoid these issues myself.

Although the two people that posted before me have very good points, I have dabbled in having my breasts wrapped in rope, tightly. I'm talking it looking like big purple grapes. Me and my partner never leave the ropes on long but it does make it much more sensitive. It leaves marks around your breast where the rope is and one time I did pop a few blood vessels because it was so tight but it didn't cause any serious damage. Just be careful and know your limits as well as use your safeword with a partner if you aren't comfortable. Do experiment. It is the only way to know if you like something. Goodluck xoxo

I'm talking about damage to the internal structures of the breast that can cause problems years later. Ductal damage can and does occur if you are regularly bruising and making the breast "look like a big grape." You could possibly be damaging ductal structures or worse. There isn't absolute proof that damage in the breast increases breast cancer (we're talking 20 30 years after the injury) but some studies have shown co-occurrences.

I get BDSM, but I think any part of the body being bruised frequently can result in permanent damage, especially something as complicated as the structures in the breast.

A breast is a lot more complicated, and necessary than something simple like, say, a butt cheek. You are dealing with a complicated structure of not only vasculature and tissue, but a gland that secretes hormones, makes milk, and has its own system of lympmphatic drainage. We KNOW that cutting off lymph drainage, even temporarily can be carcinogenic and dangerous. This is just simple medicine.

I didn't mean to offend you. I was just telling my experiences.

I don't know much about the after-effects YEARS later of rope bondage of the breasts. I am sure you are right and it does make sense the way you described it.

Plenty of people in this world practice BDSM and love the bruises it causes. I know that is not what you are talking about but can it really cause permanent damage? I know I am only 21 and have been practicing the BDSM stuff for awhile and the bruises do fade. I still have feeling in every part of my body. I know you are talking about YEARS down the road and causing breast cancer/damage ect ect.

Some extreme BDSM players have their partners put needles and nails into their breasts and they STILL don't lose feeling in that area of their body.

I'm not arguing with you. As I said before, I'm sure you are right.
