This is nifty! Most people could even get enough points to do this in a day! EASY PEASY!

Sorry no. Send to Sam. Once everything is complete and in order, she will pass them on to Carrie Ann.

Eden Gives Back

As someone who has raised the $3200 required to walk the Susan G. Komen 3 day for the Cure, it would have been amazing to know that there was a group out here like this that might have wanted to help. Walking 60 miles in 3 days was a walk in the park in compairson to raising the money required to walk

Content? Like a post or two relating to our club but not necessarily the mission statement that I already submitted?

One thing about that... it would have to be REAL cd's and not cd-r copies. Other wise it would have the potential to be a can of legal worms.

Actually, is there any organized fundraising for cervical cancer? That might not be a bad outlet for Eden Gives Back.

It is different. Along the lines of the announcement for the next meeting, what's happening with the club, summary of the last meeting, stuff like that.

Yeah, and as I posted above, programs like Itunes won't let you make more than five burns of a single CD, mix or NOT.

It's just a big hassle to coordinate, especially on an EF-wide scale.

Just an idea for a workshop: book-binding. There are a bunch of writers here, and book-binding is pretty easy. I did it today for the first time. Well, I think it's easy anyway. We'll see in a few hours.

Even if they are not being sold? I was not aware burning and giving cds was illegal. I thought it was only for profit or on a mass scale. ?

EF could turn into a mass scale.

I would like to see more outside ideas like this, and like Maria mentioned. Yes of course we donate points, but we could also work together and do bigger acts of fund raising. Keep the good ideas rolling! Post on the Eden Gives Back thread.

Cool! I would love to make a book of my poetry in a scrap book kind of style.

I'd think cervical cancer and the many threads/blog posts/articles on EF about sexual health would go hand in hand.

No no, I mean each CD on a mass scale. I only caught that one comment. I assumed one cd would be exchanged for another single one?
