I work at home for myself so I'm open to clubs at any time of the day or night though I do prefer weekdays to weekends. That being said, I'm open to weekends too.

Maybe two CEC meetings would work, hosted by different people. It is more likely that people will have one of those times available.

That's a good idea. Would you yourself be more inclined to bring up an idea you had for the community on a thread like that than adding it to the most recent CEC thread?

That could work good. Maybe post something bi-weekly as apposed to monthly?

Yep. You'll never be able to make all the people happy all the time. However, if there were a daytime meeting and an evening meeting maybe two different people could head them up then get together and collaborate on what they talked about in both meetings

And maybe we don't need to have meetings quite as often? At first there was a lot to do and there was a lot of enthusiasm. If it is dying down a bit, maybe we don't need to have a meeting so frequently?

That kinda makes sense to me. If I see a thread with a title that I have an opinion on (or I'm just really curious as to others' opinions), I tend to click on it. And it's a club meeting or something, I tended to overlook them if aren't currently happening.

That way, someone doesn't feel they have to respond to every topic we bring up and they can focus on what's important to them. But it'd still be good to link to other important threads so that they have the opportunity to get more involved.

I was thinking the same thing. I'm a "resident" of a "virtual world" that has a ton of educational & informational classes/clubs/discussi ons/etc & the most active groups try to meet the timezone needs of the european community & the us community - often trying to straddle various us timezones (the us community being the largest) & this seems to have paid off for them, especially for the Adult Education Society, which is their euphimism for the sex & kink club, lol.

I know it's not the same thing, but there are similarities, in that both EF & this virtual world are communities trying to get people involved in online clubs of sorts.
