#COTM - Contributor of the Month: August 2012 (nominations)

Now... because I cannot officially nominate an EF employee for contributor of the month... I am going to give an employee some warm fuzzies and not the mildew kind of warm fuzzies either. Hopefully!

If I could, I would nominate Stormy'.

Simply because every time I try to spell her name I end up spelling, "Stromy" and for some reason that name is fun to say.

But Stormy, not only does she look at so many threads and actively participates in a wide range of discussions, she is just really a wonderful woman. Her wit and wisdom (talk about your dangerous combination there) shine through in almost every post of her's I read, and I usually walk away from threads thinking. Or laughing.

In either case, thinking or laughing is always a good thing!!!

I'm only really active in EdenLit and not the other clubs, but her involvement and support for budding authors, her encouragement is real. Even though it is part of her job to take part in EdenLit, she really "reads" what people write. You know how some people just skim a persons work? She reads it. And reads into what each author is trying to say. And comments on it during the discussions. And if this is how she treats the EdenLit Club, I can only imagine how she participates in the other clubs as well.

Her commitment- yes it is her job to take part in Forum discussions and activities... but in my opinion, she has gone above and she has gone beyond into outter space. Well... she does a fantastic job and even though I know I cannot, I would like to nominate her for Contributor of the Month.

Seconded! Maybe we could have an unofficial Staff Member of the Month voted on by the community....or would she have an unfair advantage because of her awesomeness? I still miss Sam, I will admit but I cannot think of anyone else who could have stepped into her very cute little shoes and just run with this massive behemoth we call a forum. Stormy not only didn't sink she made the whole place float so she didn't have to tread water!

CONGRATS SKTB! And Beck, who has been so much help to me over the months. These were all very well-deserved winners! Can we nominate two people at once? Sorry. I forget these things. If so, there's two I really, really wanna nominate! Actually there's a bunch, but several of them are on the "previous winners" list! Lol.


Here we go now...

First, I nominate the fabulous MPFM. She's always happy to answer any questions, she's SOOO friendly and kind and has been a pleasure to many people. She always makes super effort to write a review that leaves you with no questions unanswered. If you happen to need any help or toy advice, she's happy to help. She has such a kind personality and I think she just doesn't get the attention she deserves as a good, precious Edener.

She is amazing! Always there to give so much advice, helpful comments and anything you could ever ask for. She's friendly, write killer reviews and has such fabulous taste. She's an amazing asset to the community. I see her helping out new comers and old comers (ha ha. Old comers) quite often. She always makes time to stick around to give a helping hand.

OK I better stop here or I will never shut up and it's quite possible that I will nominate a few more if I don't just stop myself now.
