I found these a long while back, and have since made them for when my bf feels like dressing up. They work pretty well, and can be decorated if you want. Tit Bits
Here's the set I made him. They fit quite well in a D-cup bra:
knit breasts]
The only problems he had was that the stuffing is a bit fluffy until they pack down a bit, and I had to put some weight in them. Each has about a dozen glass marbles tied into a piece of nylons buried in the fiberfill. Also, I was a beginning knitter when I made them, so I wasn't all that great at knitting in the round yet. I'll probably make a new set eventually now that I've improved. Also, I'd make them out of a nice, soft yarn (Simply Soft or something similar) since they are going to rub against the person wearing them's chest. The pattern itself recommends them for mastectomy patients, and says that you can sew them so the bottom part indents in to protect the scars if necessary.
Anyway, just thought I'd post this in case anyone had a use for it
These are great! I wonder if anyone has created a crocheted version? I simply have never been able to wrap my head (or hands) around knitting, and how it works. I'd like a pair if my boyfriend ever decides he'd like to try a little feminization, and I know many breast cancer survivors who could benefit from one of these, who would rather go breastless than wear their "gross" prosthetic breasts. (Their opinion of the prosthesis, not mine.)
x'D Those are pretty cute, I may have to see about making my boyfriend a pair to fill out the pretty dresses I'm going to put on him (he likes it once in a while anyway so I don't feel bad planning such things).
*insert evil looking smile here while creepy music plays*
A few years back I knitted over 75 pair of yarn titties!! I owned a yarn store, and did a challenge to see how many the store and customers could knit and donate to the American Cancer Society. In total, we sent off almost 400 pair.
lol. Awesome! You should donate them to support breast cancer patients, or upload a tutorial on how to make them to a site that supports fighting breast cancer. (American Cancer Society, for starts.) Then everyone can make there own and donate them too.
