I'm really glad everyone picked this! It's one I've been doing a lot lately!

I've got a Make Your Own Toy Pouch Workshop planned out. It'll be a lot of fun. I'll announce the date soon! Stay tuned for that!

Oh, and in case you guys didn't catch it on the calender, our monthly meeting will be on September 11 at 10:00pm EST.

So, to start this off, what questions does everyone have about sewing? How much experience do you have? What do you sew? What's your favorite kind of fabric?

Well, maybe you'll learn a few tricks this month that will get you going! I'll be featuring a lot of information on techniques, as well.

I can sew everything but knits and a few other stretchy things. Ive been sewing since i was 13 but back then it was all by hand. I used to make skirts and dresses back then.

Maybe ill sew a toy pouch for my own pleasure. Everyones look so dofferent from each other, and ive had a few ideas rolling around in my head.

I camy wait for your workshop!!! Its gonna be awesome.

You're a couple of months late In June I had to do quite a bit of research to make things for my toys. During that time I've made two padded pouches and one bag. The results were not so bad overall, even brilliant considering I use a sewing machine once a couple of years.

I sewed a button on a dress a few days ago, and that was a huge accomplishment. So yeah, basically no experience. I'd love to learn to make some toy pouches, though.
