I only really watch Good Eats because it's all scientific.

I love cooking shows! Food Network is constantly on my television. Sometimes I sit with a notebook and copy recipes as I watch!

I mostly watch Good Eats (Alton Brown at his best) and America's Test Kitchen but occasionally I'll watch other shows, such as New Scandinavian Cooking or Fast Food My Way (Jacque Pépin is great!)

I love getting inspiration for new recipes to try, and learn new or better techniques for preparing delicious and healthy food. I'm not really fond of things like Iron Chef or other competitions/reality shows about cooking (okay okay, I have a secret thing for Chef Ramsey in Hell's Kitchen)... I really like Alton Brown's shows. Lots of science goodness that really helps me cook better! And he's kinda cute too, which helps.

I'm so the domestic diva type, so yes, I love em'! The Food Network stars are my holmies. I want to be Giada DeLaurentiis.

I've always loved "Good Eats" and have had a foodie-crush on Rachel Ray.

Iron Chef America is another good show. I don't like all the reality shows they have on now

If there is nothing better on TV then I might turn it on and find a new recipe to try

I voted yes when I'm bored. I sometimes get a tip from a show that works for me, or an idea for a recipe to try.

My partner enjoys watching them, but I don't really care for them. If he has them on and I am on my laptop on the couch, then I'll sort of watch it as I do whatever I'm doing online. Other than that, no.

I can't say I've ever intentionally sought out a cooking show, but if one is on, I might stop and watch for a little bit. I do enjoy some of the other food-type shows like Anthony Bourdain's No Reservations. I don't know. Maybe that says a lot about me as a person.

I didn't post. I'm 'other' for this one. I love love love cooking shows...but I only like to watch them while I cook. Current household does not have a TV in the kitchen. It's funny because I watch one TV show once a week and really can't stand it other times.

I need a TV in my kitchen, I need food network and HGTV. Haha.

No, I don't think I've ever actually watched a cooking show. Just not all that interested I guess.

I love watching cooking shows. Never use their recipes or anything, but I have learned a lot of new techniques

I've never tried a recipe exactly copied from a cooking show, but I often pull inspiration from them!

I'm an aspiring chef myself, so there's a lot of fun ideas to toy with put out there that I might not have otherwise thought of. Also, it's fun to see how other people cook, and the process behind recipe design and ingredient production/prep/select ion, and the cooking process itself, the way other people do it.

Seeing complex techniques is good, but I don't watch when it's something I know how to do. I'd rather just read the recipe and do it myself!

I started watching food shows many years ago learning how to cook. I pick up recipes quite a bit, though in the last year I haven't been enjoying as many shows on the Food Network and found myself migrating more towards PBS cooking shows.

I started watching cooking shows when I was like 7 or 8.
I learned most of the things I know from the Food Network! My favorite shows were Emeril (I wanted to meet him so bad! He was my role model.), Great Chefs (on either the Travel Channel or the Discovery Channel, I can't remember), Sara Moulton, Sweet Dreams with Gale Gand, East Meets West with Ming Tsai, Ace of Cakes, Dinner Impossible, 30 Minute Meals, and Good Eats.
Now I watch Chopped, Cupcake Wars, Restaurant Impossible, Sweet Genius, sometimes Diners Drive-Ins and Dives, and once in a while Good Eats.
