I am all for that but I can not get anyone to go to a movie with me unless it has been out at the theater for awhile and the crowds have died down a bit. We can't stream Netflix though and I don't have Netflix acct since it takes too long for the mail turn around here.

We have Redbox rentals and VOD.

do you have a redbox or blockbuster movie boxes? they are $1 a night and have some movies before netflix

Do you have a rental place? All our Blockbusters shut down, but some of the privately owned rental places like Family Video are still up and running around here!

We've still got a few Blockbusters around here, a few Family Videos too. Hollywood Video has been gone for a long time

Our grocery stories rent movies too. They are expensive though.

I think it’s a good idea to rotate between “blockbuster” type movies, classic and independent films; maybe even some of the bigger-named documentaries, or documentaries that might be interesting to this community. What do you guys think?

We have a few grocery stores with the Redbox out front, that's as close as our grocery stores get to renting movies.

Did you know that Blockbuster has a few of those boxes too? I've seen one outside of a gas station before, lol.

I have a really hard time staying awake in movies like documentaries. I have only seen one that I didn't have to watch 3 or 4 times to get through.

a lot of the time the blockbuster ones have free rental codes out, redbox gives one out to cellphones as well

So, based on that, here are my suggestions for this month’s movie. I picked two recent well-known movies, two classic well-known movies, and two independent films. If we rotate, whatever type of movie is selected this time around, the another style will be selected next month, and will continue to rotate, excepting on the months we go to the theater!

Mainstream:
Unthinkable
Eat Pray Love

Classic:
The Graduate
Dog Day Afternoon

Indie:
City Island
