So far I have one for Eat Pray Love and one for The Graduate. And two write-ins for Casablanca.
I'd like to see The Graduate.

That's the WHOLE point! To show we're not just about the sex! (not that the sex isn't great)

I would love to see the Graduate. I have already seen Eat Pray Love. And am going to watch Unthinkable in the next 24 hours or so.

The novels always have all the great detail that movies are sometimes lacking.

I love hearing feedback like that. And I'm always so proud to be able to say that we're so much more than just sex toys. Like, sure, the toys are awesome, don't get me wrong, but there's so much more here to offer people, and it'a amazing.

For classics, honestly I could go for either The Graduate or Casablanca. I have to make a confession. I havent seen either one

Hehe Casablanca is pretty awesome and very classic. And I've dissected The Graduate inside and out in a film class before so I know there's a lot to discuss about it. I haven't seen Eat Pray Love yet (and I get the idea I won't like it) but it's the only one I'd be able to come into no previous experience. Sooo... I guess I'll do that one.

Casablanca is so great. When I first watched it with my husband shortly after we got back together a few years ago I was amazed at how many things were based on things in that movie. Like any "Igor" type character you see in most cartoons and such, totally based on Ugarte.

I think The Graduate wins with 4(?) votes!

Let me know if you see the descriptions of those movies and they seem interesting. We can keep some of the titles in rotation, like Shrink has Kevin Spacey in it and he's one of my FAVORITE actors ever.

I just saw Casablanca very recently for the first time...and I didn't really like it. *prepares to be pelted with various sex toys* I think it's kind of partly that I haven't seen many older movies. I got kind of bored. I know it's a good movie, but I didn't really enjoy watching it. Haha. I did love hearing where a lot of famous quotes came from, though.

My favorite movie of all time is Say Anything. Dorky I know, but I love John Cusack. My husband and I watched it when we first met and the theme song is our song. Sick huh? hehe

CONTEST TIME!

I’m going to quote a movie, the first person to tell me what movie it’s from will get a $25 GC from Eden! If no one gets it within 2 minutes, I’ll post another quote from the same movie. If after 2 more minutes no one gets it, I’ll post a third (along with the name of the director). But that’s all… the last quote will be one of the most popular and may include a character’s name…

Sounds good. I don't think I have seen that one so it will give me a new movie to watch.

I got grief for a little bit, then he's all like "here's the entire Bogey and Bacall series, as well as Casablanca, let's start watching!"

There's something to be said for those older movies that didn't have explosions to move the plot along. His last girlfriend couldn't stand watching the older ones because they just moved too slow for her and she'd get bored real fast, but I love them!
