I am a pet but I'm a human pet. I don't have an actual "animal" I play but rather enjoy the same treatment but as a human instead (makes going out in public much easier too) BUT I have been known to dress up as a fox

Yes we do! We have two cats right now, we lost one back in June.

Master has a cat named Sabrina, and she is about 13. He's had her as long as I've known him.

Master bought me Serenade, our kitten, a couple months ago. She's my little fur-baby. I love her to pieces.

I can totally understand that. M and I hike and camp a lot in areas without facilities. I'm so used to him standing there talking to me while I squat, it's no big deal. But if anyone else were there, I'd probably hide. If he allowed it. Lol.

That's why I chose to tack on "shifter" to be honest. I like being able to be a Cat-girl rather than a cat, at least some of the time. Then I can be in "human form" but keep up the dynamic in public...

I see what you mean, I started off with "human pet" too, but I found it was easier for me to get into the right headspace if I associated with an animal.

It's funny you mention that!

The type of pet play Master and me do, is similar. We think of me as a "little girl who dresses up and pretends to be a cat" rather than an actual animal. We combine age play with kitten play a lot.

Sometimes we do pet play without a specific "animal" attatched. More like, I am just treated as a beast, if that makes sense to you.

Another interesting thing is that while I'm in "kitty mode" Master will not have sex with me, or beat me. Sex and impact play are always separate because he says that he can't hurt (or fuck) an animal, which makes total sense to me.

I feel the same way! We're in a poly relationship, and sometimes play with others. When other people watch me pee or use the litterbox, instant humiliation! Just.. Not with Master anymore.

I like that! Shows a good Master! (lucky girl!!!) That's one thing that's different in my play. Because I am human there are no restrictions. I tend to pick and choose when I behave and when I don't for whatever reason (usually to get in trouble because I'm evil) Do you do the same in pet mode?

I do!

And, it's not something we do all the time. I get a litter box for special occasions when I've been really good (as a treat). We buy the disposable ones for play, so it would be expensive to buy me one all the time.

Ah, nice! I think that is cute.

No, I tend to be really good in pet mode. Mostly, because I'm pretty obedient more often than not. As a kitty I do get to do other things that I don't usually, like, I can try to steal food off of Master's plate, since the other cats do it too.. But if Master says "No", then whether I'm in kitty mode or little girl mode, slave mode, or *Whatever* mode, then I'm expected to comply.

To throw in my two cents, we actually differentiate petplay and animal play strongly from bestiality. All things considered, even if I'm in an animal mindset, I'm still human, therefore, it isn't bestiality. I'm able to consent.

Never thought of the stealing food thing... i like it! I very seldom behave but then I'm not a slave or a true out sub. Now I'm wanting to maybe explore this a little further... I could behave, i think.

I agree with you completely. It's just one of Master's foibles. He says I seem too close to a real kitty to him, and he just can't. I know lots of people do combine pet play and sex.

I mostly got into it from Eden, but before learning about it I acted animal like ever since being a kid. I played animals instead of people because it was freeing and put me in a mindset that I liked. It just sort of took off and developed from there.

I got into it because both my lover and I like to be in the head-space (we're switches). It's freeing to be a pet, in a way. It means getting to not be human for a while and being free from silly things like dignity. Also, it's a bit of an experiment in non-verbal communication in some cases. When someone isn't allowed to talk, you have to pay much closer attention to their body language.

Thank you!

Nope, this wasn't my first collar. I got this one when Master married me. I started off with a metal choke chain. That was my training collar. Then, I got a blue nylon cat collar from Pet Co. That one didn't last forever though. Then, Master bought me a red leather one from Pet Co. I wore the red leather one up until we got married, and he collared me in front of both our friends and family. Of course, most of them didn't know why I wanted a collar, or the symbol it held for us. It was still nice.

I have a D ring and an O ring attached to this collar, so we don't usually attach other collars to me for play. Sometimes Master will put another one on in addition, but it's pretty rare.

M and I dabble. I think we found it in porn. Some girl was playing fetch. It was hot, so we tried it. We've done it once in a while since.

That is cool. When I was in elementary school and we played house, I was always dead set against being a family member. I'd always be a pet! Lol. Sometimes a dog, sometimes a cat. Funny how when you're little things stick with you though, isn't it?

That's a really sweet story actually.

Can I ask what difference an O ring versus a D ring makes with collars? I've never put much thought into it before, so it seems interesting to me that your collar would have both.

I work for Petco! My kitty side takes over sometimes when I see all the shiny pretty collars and feather toys. OMG. Sometimes I lose myself when stocking and playing with the feathers and other kitty toys. I have a collar that my husband will put on me when he's feeling the kitty play to let me know that it's ok to get into that space.

That is an awesome way to put it! It is so frustrating sometimes to want to talk sometimes and be unable to say what you need to. I think that is part of the fun. I know Master likes to watch me and my "kitty charades!"

I do understand how it can be a limit. We generally only have sex when I'm in "pet-girl" or "pet-boy" mode (yes, it does depend on what gender I'm feeling like at the time.) rather than full on pet mode, in pet play scenes. (where he's the master and I'm the pet.) because among the differences, I can walk on two legs and talk in that "mode".
