#EdenLit - Poetry-Geisha

Makeup mask my face
My eyes tell you every lie you long to hear
My body you try to buy but you cannot afford and I would not give in
I am the women in the crimson silk kimono that covers my milky skin
I dance for you
And poor you tea and sacky
Geisha
I play you games
Then levee you as if I was a dream to you
In a jingle of the bells in my hair and a strikes of my bright kimono
But all you see is my beauty
But not my soul
All of me you see is the costume
I lay before you
Not knowing to pay my debt
I was raped
And that I have learn to smile
When my child was taken from me
For all you know is my beauty
Not my pain.
