Honestly... I've bought a few books from EF and a lot of the erotica left LOTS to be desired. I mean how can one get aroused from only a one page story? (maybe it's just me!! I don't know)

Can we write an erotic book with novellas, short stories, wham bam stories/quickies and poetry???

Ahhh perhaps you will be in our next one! This first book was a sort of This is US kind of book and featured all of the authors who were involved in the club during those Months.

Speaking of which...HAPPY BIRTHDAY to US!!!! It was February of last year that we had our first meeting and discussion about the topics we chose in January! I'm hoping to have a Eden Lit Party next month to celebrate. We can get liquored up and partay naked!

We've gotten about -20C here through the night, then the sun comes out and even though it is -10C at the moment, the desert sun is AMAZING!!! Sitting here in a t-shirt and actually it is the perfect temp.

But living in the desert means no snow. L'grande sigho. I miss snow. Less than one inch of snow ALL winter. And that was the fluffy stuff that just blew away.

Actually I do!!! I really do.

I really think having the stories posted here in the Forums drew in more people reading them. And we've a few new posters too for stories. That is great!!!

It's great to learn new tricks on writing, but I'd like to see more discussion on them. Like using the theme of the lesson to write a sentence or two, then compare or something like that.

That's a great idea! I'll mull it around and see what I can come up with.
I'd like to keep using the full two hours...so we get to keep them! We could try some serial writing exercizes as well....like you write a sentence and I write a sentence in the same style ect.

We are going to be having them at the meetings....I dunno if I should give larger ones or keep them at $10 increments. We have a $50 budget I think for them per meeting.

Actually... that just gave me a brilliant idea!!!

We can make a practice thread for this month using the first person, and the "It was a dark and stormy night..." Where a person completes the end of the sentence, then begins (not completes) the next sentence in a new thread. Or one sentence at a time per thread (might be easier!).

This way, it might draw in more people, and it's a month long game.
