This is me all over. I feel much more natural making people comfortable than I ever would being dominant... which is silly, because I know how comfortable I feel when being dominated... oh well. Maybe my brain will stretch over time.

Quite possibly. I'm hoping that mine will too. I'll get into being dominant, then I start to feel silly and lose the moment. He has the same problem.

My husband and I both ride horses, so that made me giggle. Although, with horses it's spelled reins. And it's generally a very bad idea to let go of them unless you have a very well trained horse.

I absolutely cannot stand being dominated. Which is probably why I am so hesitant to dominate him even though he says that he would like it. Maybe reading this book will help me figure out how to manage things.

In my introduction to tonight's discussion, I asked a few questions. I'll throw this one out that anyone can answer since it's not specifically about Please, Ma'am:

Do you like/appreciate stories that don't necessarily mesh with your own personal kinks? (In other words: if you're a submissive woman, can you enjoy stories about dominant women?)

With me, it's extremely relaxing to be able to know that my partner is completely pleased---or telling me exactly what I can do to make him feel good (mentally or physically). I just naturally like to see my partner happy, and it's a really wonderful thing to feel like *I'm* capable of making that happen.

I hope the book helps a bit! I actually learned a lot about myself by reading Please, Sir---and I assume this can have the same effect.
