And I have *always* had a thing for flash fiction.

The original title of Frenzy was Flash Fucking!
maybe that title should be still used for a book. Hint hint!

I think Alison Tyler is a fantastic introduction to print erotica! So glad her anthology hooked you! It's fun over here on the dark side!

I looked especially for the water story, after reading Alison's introduction about "a cool refreshing finale to a crackling collection."

How many of you read the introductions to anthologies? Do you read them before after dipping into the book (or streaming right through it?)

I can be very passionate about books... among other things.

But Carnal Machines was my very first book of erotica, and having the first story I read be such a dud was extremely frustrating. Fortunately, the rest of the book was good.

I'm looking forward to reading Playing With Fire as soon as I receive it.

I think it was Borders that refused to carry a book with that title. I guess we don't have to worry about that anymore.

Thank you very much... And I am really glad that people liked the long with the short. I have always enjoyed mixing things up a bit. I'll start with a sweet 100-worder by Nikki Magennis and then hit you with a 3,500K by Sommer Marsden...

I start at the beginning and go to the end; introduction starts it and the last story finishes it. I've found that a lot of the same authors appear in a lot of these anthologies so I don't really read the bios anymore, but I used to.
