Yes, I was disappointed there weren't any reviews of BGR before tonight! It's a lovely book-- and I suppose that since most of our book club participants are women, I should ask the obvious question: do you enjoy reading gay erotica? I do, ... more
I enjoy reading well written erotica

I know it wouldn't matter to me if I read gay/lesbian erotica, as long as the stories are well written it would keep my interest.

FTL sounds so ... so juicy. PTER interesting, would have not thought of thought of those two subjects together. Steamlust also sounds like a interesting read and ofcourse BET2012 another must read.

But they should have an erotica section like Alys I like to look at books and their titles and read a bit before I buy them. Having them all in one section would make it easier for those of us that are not familiar with authors of Erotica.

I agree. I would be totally lost in where to look in different sections. I am also to shy to ask-I won't even ask for help with a childrens book

Paranormal Tales of Erotic Romance is due out in May? That one sounds like something my husband would enjoy reading. Then maybe after I get introduced to erotica he will too.

Sorry, I jump around badly in my thoughts.

I also hate asking for help. I think we could solve the problem if they just had a huge sign (preferably a large blow up penis)pointing the way, of how easy life would be.
LOL

I'm only slightly kidding.

Thanks Kristina—i was checking my records and of the three reviewers we had who planned to review this particular book, none were able to make it tonight.

Hopefully they will turn in their reviews soon so we know what they thought of the book!

Hehe, that's more like what I see happening than getting the kids to stay away from the balloons...

Are the books for each month drastically different from each other. Or do they cover the same themes and what not?

I think there are general themes to each month, although they do tend to vary quite a bit.

Did this month have a theme? I know one of the books was on Gay romance I was late so didn't hear about the first book.

The books vary from month to month. For February the books were focused on sex and romance, of course!

I see. I think this months picks were really interesting. I may just have to get both of them to read.

Generally speaking, are they mostly a compilation of short stories? Or are some one full novel with same characters and one storyline?

In order to be sent the book for review, you'd have to join the review program, so that you could write the review on it

And I think this month's theme was romance. I'm not entirely sure on the rest of the months tho.

For this club, at least in my experience, everything has been a series of short stories.
