Same. It's so much easier to write a rave review. But the negative reviews are so important to get out there, to keep people from making disappointing purchases.

Oh, another thing that I'd like to see and need to improve on myself is the 'unscientific measurements'. I know, mathematically that there are 12 in. in a foot and all that, but when someone says 1.25 in. in diameter or especially 1 5/8 in in diameter (with the fraction), I have such a hard time picturing that. Besides comparison pics, I love it when people include info comparing the diameter/length to comparative measurements like how does this dildo compare in girth to an average human male penis or to a coke can. That kind of thing

Very rarely do I not have photos, but if I don't like it on me I won't show photos. Does it help to include photos of the piece laying down anyways? I only do that sometimes when I feel it doesn't look like the pic.

Honestly, I am debating it because those votes hurt. I sometimes wish now I'd never started showing how I look but so many folks have said it helps them.

My husband says I need to be more thick-skinned and I say that I need LESS skin...but he doesn't get it.

It's in the pre-planning stages. That's about all I can say about it.

We've got a few things on the burner now for changes. I'm working on a couple ideas now. It's mostly Gary, Sam, Emma, and I working on the things from the community standpoint.

I don't think I'll ever bring myself to do a lingerie review, I don't think most would fit my measurements, especially in the cup area.

Yeah. Some of my most negative reviews (Sasi, Ina) I had to brace myself for like six months to make sure I really didn't like them before I got up the guts to write them.

Me too. I'm fine with video reviews, because no one will see me, but I'm very shy about pics because, well I do have a big ass.

I was talking to someone last night who wanted me to mentor him - but wound up getting accepted by another mentor at the same time I contacted him.

So he sent me his review to read anyway and wrote about how the toy was 1 5/8" and would fit about any woman.

I wrote back, laughing, about size queens. I read that to my daughter and husband and they both died laughing at the thought that any woman could take that diameter.

Honestly, you can't worry about every vote. Not everyone will appreciate every one of your reviews. And I highly doubt you got low votes simply because of your pictures. EF is one of if not the most supportive communities online.

that's so true!

I think it's noteworthy and brave when people show themselves (with or without their faces) in video reviews or in written reviews. I understand privacy, but it's a big boost to the ego when you get compliments.
