and by POV do you mean like.. the kardashian porn? like handheld, i'm fucking this dude and holding the camera myself porn?
It refers to gonzo journalism, which is a reporting style without being objective in the first person and often involved the reporter. With porn, it's with the camera trying to mimic someone's perspective in the movie so the viewer feels like a part of the scene.

I have *so much* to learn about porn. I only own two, Upload which I got because of Pixel's review, and this Historic Erotica boxed set that doesn't actually have any sex in it, just sexy men showering and carving "sculptures" and looking seductively at the camera.

Absolutely not too difficult! I've had almost a hundred students at some point, each very different. I am available after the first week on January.

Where do you think we should focus on, for reviews, for improvement in the next year?

I almost forgot about this workshop until now. I'm surprised that you're sort of showing off my writing. *goes back to reading the thread*

I think I should focus on rating more reviews as well as giving more details in my reviews. I am also gonna add pictures.

I read F&LiLV like twice a week for two months in my high school spanish class... we had tables with seatmates, and apparently the girl I sat next to was a very slow reader. I never bothered to bring my own book, so she just let me borrow it, over and over... I think the teacher might have been a little annoyed after a while, but every time he asked me a question (as long as he addressed me verbally instead of by pointing) I was always able to answer seamlessly, and he never had the guts to make me stop reading when I was still acing all the tests and never missing a question during class.

I'm not sure if this counts, but for silicone dildos and vibrators, I'd like to see more about flexibility and rigidity. It's hard without feeling it to know how hard the silicone is and how much it will bend. With glass, plastic and metals there really isn't this problem, but there is such variation with silicones.

Rating reviews is important for everyone. I'm always a fan of people adding pictures to their reviews.

Personally, I'm working to find a voice. I don't have difficulty with getting the facts on the page, I just want it to not be boring.

good call!

Silicone does have a wide range of flexibility.

I'd like to start being a little more consistent... some of my reviews are ultra-scientific, and others are ultra-flowery. I don't really know which style suits me better... some reviews are crossovers or in the middle, too.

I wonder if I should try to balance overall, or try to lean more toward prosaic or more toward poetic?

Any suggestions, crowd? What do you like to read more, when you're choosing a toy?

Aw, thank you.
Regarding the focus: I think more people should be encouraged to add pictures and write more than the bare minimum per section. (I've come across quite a few annoyingly short and uninformative reviews in my random site dalliances.)
