Click and Charge question

Contributor: ScottA ScottA
I have a new FF "Click and Charge" toy that I'm looking forward to trying out, but I'm having charging problems. The light on the adapter box comes on, but when it's attached to the vibe the light on the "mag-plug" flashes a few times and then goes out. Is this likely to be the adapter or the vibe?

I checked the voltage at the adapter and it was 0, but that could easily be the charging circuitry disconnecting the charger if there is no battery or the battery is charged.

I'm not entirely sure to be honest with you. No amount of wiggling it around to try and find a "sweet spot" works?

It stops charging within a second, no matter how much I wiggle and press.

This may sound like a stupid question, ScottA, but are you sure it's not already fully charged? I've done that a couple times.

It doesn't turn on, so I figured it wasn't charged. I suppose the vibe could be fully charged and defective.

Do Fun Factory toys come locked? I do believe my Yooo did. Maybe yours is locked? To unlock it, you just hold down all of the available buttons. (Obviously doesn't apply to some of their types of toys). Otherwise, it could be defective.

Yeah, sounds to me like a) it's either already charged and locked or b) just not accepting a charge aka defective.

Ps. You gonna do a video on that one, Scott?

Click n Charge is weird. Mine charged fine when I first got it. Then it only worked for 30 minutes on a full charge. After that I charged it and couldn't get it to turn on. Thankfully, after reading a thread on EF, I held down the on button for a looong time and it turned on.

Is it just me? Or does click n' charge hate me???

I just received The Big Boss yesterday (after a month long wait no less!!!) and plugged him in, fixed the metal peices together and waited.

And waited.

And waited.

Four hours. Six hours. Eight hours. Nine hours passed and the light did not go off.

Is there something wrong with me (this is the second time somethings happened to a click n' charge toy and I am about ready to give up on them) or the toy itself???

Are you sure that the device is charging correctly? I've had a couple times where the magnet would let me place it on backwards, but it wouldn't really charge that way. It should, if memory serves me correctly, have a light that lights up when it's charging.

Like others said, it also may be locked.

The red light lights up, the toy gets charged, but the red light never goes off to tell me its charged enough.
