Should I purchase Ella?

Contributor: cottonxcandy cottonxcandy
I keep hearing good things about Ella and it's intriguing. I'm highly considering making it my next purchase. I'm fairly inexperienced with g-spot stimulation, what have been your experiences with Ella and would you recommend her to me?

The only reason I voted "No" is because there wasn't an other option. Something to consider is that she is a rather large toy for an inexperienced user. LELO makes smaller toys like the Liv and the Gigi that are great for g-spot as well. If you know where your g-spot is located and what kind of stimulation it likes, I really would never turn any one away from great vibes like these from LELO.

Also, these are expensive toys and an investment for sure (worth it and great warranty/customer service). I'm sure you have considered this. You can also check out the Mona by LELO. However, you are going to have more freedom of motion with the Liv, Gigi and Ella which would probably be good if you're experimenting with your g-spot. The Ella seems to be thicker and longer than the Liv and the Gigi. The Gigi has that flat tip that allows for more g-spot coverage.

But honestly, if you are really feeling strongly about this vibe, then I really would listen to your gut and do what feels right; this is what I do even after reading the reviews on things and it really has not steered me wrong before. I love LELO and truly believe that whichever vibe you choose from them, you will be happy with. I wish you all the best with your purchase. I'd really like to know how it works out!

Ella seems to be everyone's go-to dildo (Even my friend who never had any toys before lists her as a favorite out of the 10 or so toys I got her) but she didn't work for me. I personally like broad, light g-spot stimulation, and one side was too intense and the other was too pointy. For $40 (less on sale or as a buyout) I think that it's a great toy to figure out what you like and what you should invest in when you look at higher priced toys.

I would recommend a harder material (i.e. glass or stainless steel) instead. Reason being, it's easier to 'find' your g-spot with such a material.

^ Do you have the Ella ? I'm just asking because she is rather firm - there's hardly and squeeze there ! The "neck" takes a lot of pressure to bend, too and while I can bend it with my hand, I doubt it's bending inside me (my vagina is not that strong ).

I know that "silicone" sounds squishy and soft, but Ella's silicone is dense and firm.

This toy was the first toy that found my g-spot. I can't promise it will work for all anatomy - and there are certainly people it doesn't work for. It's about a 1.5" toy, and this was a "step up" toy for me from 1" - it took a bit of stretching, but I could use it first try.

I used to think this was a pretty hot toy. After reading reviews and talking to those who have used it, not glowing.

Ella doesn't work for me, but I know it does for many. It's very dependent on what type of stimulation you prefer and where your G spot is. Since you're new to G spot play, it will be hard to say 100% if Ella will be a fit for you or not. It's one of the cheaper Lelo toys though, so it's worth a shot.

Until I used Ella the first time, I was begining to wonder if I even had a g-spot. I still haven't had a g-spot orgasm, but Ella and Icicles no 17 both get me very close and one day I think it will happen. But I know we are all different, so you have to decide what is appealing to you, and what do you want to try?

I plan to get it for myself on of these days, and it has a reasonable price so I vote yes, definitely get it.

Well it really depends, you better just do enough research, and give it a shot, then see if it is good enough for you or not... I doubt it though that it would be totally useless for you, you already know you want a silicone dildo, also that Ella works well for many people's spots, so I assume it is really something what you would enjoy at least a little bit if not so immensely, but yep, I am thinking about getting it too, and will see how much I like it... ^^

Thank you all for the responses! I'm fairly certain Ella will be my next purchase I've found my g-spot already and I'm able to hit it with a couple of toys, but nothing I own has quite been right. I've already decided that I'm purchasing the Uma with my next pay check, but honestly I'm hoping it will be the perfect clitoral vibrator for me. I know I want something a little more curved for my g-spot and for some reason the Ella has really caught my eye!

Uma doesn't do much for me externally - it's a strong toy, but if you need more "pinpoint" or "directed" vibrations, it's not great for that.

If you like more "diffused" vibrations, I can see Uma working well, but the shape just doesn't work for me unless it's super-strong like a wand - and this seems like a common preference. Just a thought.

Also, if it makes a difference, Uma is a fair bit larger than Ella to use internally, due to the shapes.

Any suggestions on a fantastically strong vibrator? I have the Hitachi but it isn't pinpointed enough. I tend to push my vibrators really hard against my clitoris and I need something that will stand up to that.

I have been debating on getting the Ella for well over a year. And now that my collection has boomed in size because of EF (me lurve you wrong time Eden!!!) I am actually thinking of maybe saving my point for Olga rather than Ella because I can.

But meh. I have no idea!!!

I just ordered an Ella because I kept hearing from women that Ella helped them find their G-spot and/or learn how to squirt and/or have G-spot orgasms. Really excited to see if Ella works as well for me as she did for some of the reviewers I've seen!

Just got mine! You can always check out my review. I believe it is a staple everyone should have in their toybox, and it should work for most women.
