We don't make a big deal out of Valentine's Day.

I'm single now, but I've never made it a big deal while in a relationship. I'm known for forgetting about holidays anyway.

I'm part of a couple, and I dislike Valentine's Day. I'd prefer to be treated well every night of the year rather than just one!

Also, I like it when he does something romantic because he wants to, instead of because he feels obligated to do it.

I've never been big on Valentines day. For a long time, I was single every Valentine's day. Now, this year and last year I've had a partner for it, but we never even mention Valentine's day... It's just another day.

I love Asofterworld, sorry but your post reminded me of this.

We personally like Valentines day, but I know plenty of people who don't. I also know a lot of people who don't like their birthdays, including my boyfriend. I totally understand why people don't like it, and how you really should treat eachother nice every day, but I also understand why I like it a lot. It's fun!I might get jaded after a few more Valentines days, but for now we're still gonna go out. If you don't celebrate it I hope you have a nice 14th anyways and don't have people try and convince you to!

I prefer the day after Valentine's Day, when all the candy is half-off.

I have to say half off is the best for me too. I do like the fact that now the kids are older they let us go out in peace, Just a good date night LOL

I know, right? My man was telling me last night he saw a commercial for a 6' bear from Vermont Teddy Bears. Yes, you read that right - 6 feet tall!! He said when he saw the commercial he knew I would be very unhappy if he got that, and that my first thought would be "Thanks a lot, now I have to deal with a stupid 6' bear". LMAO He was right.

We didn't do anything last year and I doubt we'll do anything this year either.
