New Base on Harness Dildo

Metis,
My wife an I are HUGE fans of the Tantus line of silicone strap-on dildos, and own several of them. We LOVE the designs, textures, QUALITY, ease of cleaning and maintenance, affordable prices, etc. In fact, the only nitpick we've had with them has been the thin circular base, which can be difficult to grasp once it get's some lube on it, or can even occasionally pop out of a tight fitting ring on the harness because the base bends so easily.

But now, I've seen the NEW base introduced on the "Curve." It looks great! I'm guessing a base like this will help to keep the dildo in place in the harness? Does it really provide enough rigidity to keep it from popping out of the ring? What about when held by hand? Does the oblong shape really make that much of a difference and keep the dildo from twisting around and pointing in the wrong direction right at the moment you needed it to stay put?

Hopefully it does, and if so, the biggest question is, do you plan to continue to use this new base design on ALL of your wonderful Tantus dildos from here on out?

Thanks, and I'm looking forward to trying some (perhaps the new base is the perfect excuse! haha)

Did you see this?

EF is going to carry the [ https://www.edenfantasys.com/strap-ons/strap-on-harnesses/ | Curve Kit 0, which is a harness along with the curve dildo.

I'm definitely interested in it.

The base of the Curve does a great job of keeping it solidly mounted in a harness. It fits well in the hand, and seems to stay in place well. On top of that, the Curve takes the best features from the Tantus Acute and Sport/Luxury models. It's a good design.

Spicywife,
Yes! I did see that! In fact, I tried to get it as one of the sponsored product reviews when it was listed, but apparently someone else had nabbed it first, as I was denied. We do already have an entry level harness though, so we may just end up buying the "Curve" dildo itself down the road.

I was denied too but then I realized the price was too high for my current rating. I actually thought it was sponsored by Tantus, not EF.

You can always do a buy-out review, I've considered doing that for this product. But if you already have a harness than it makes sense to get just the dildo. We have the "bare as you dare" harness, which is great but I'd like to try other styles of harnesses as well.

I'll be eager to hear the review of whomever is trying it out! I've been curious about the Curve

The current reviews on the Curve don't address prostate play because the reviewers were female and did not try it on a male partner. I think it would work nicely though.

ScottA, do you have the curve? If so, do you use it for pegging/prostate play? If so, I'd be curious to hear your review on it compared to other dildos you've tried for it.

Thanks for pointing that out. Maybe for my next review I should see if EF will let me review it for prostate play?! Then again, with having 4 reviews on it already (all female), maybe not.

If it does end up getting good reviews in terms of prostate stimulation, then maybe we'll just end up buying it down the road (after some other toys on the list! haha.)

My current review item is for a glass dildo that already had a review (just 1 though) that offered only from a female perspective so I asked if I could review it for prostate play and they said yes. Since the Curve already has 4 reviews, I have no idea if that would apply. But there really does need to be a review on it for that particular use!

Yes and yes - It's very good for prostate play, espeically for the size. My guess is that it will wind up somewhere near the top of the dildos in my toybox.

The curve causes the tip to hit the spot with every thrust, and the texturing is enough to give a little stimulation at the anus, but not so much that you need to go slow all the time or worry about being relaxed enough. It slides in easily, and the silicone is a good density - flexible enough that you don't have to worry about poking yourself uncomfortably, and stiff enough so it doesn't bend during anal play.

When used with my harnesses (Aslan Wonder Woman and Sportsheets Latigo Leather, which is the one that comes in the Curve Kit) it's long enough to not slip out during most anal harness use unless you get really wild, and the base keeps it pointing where it should. It doesn't replace my big dildos (Tantus Captain/Squirt and Fun Factory Tiger), but I'd highly recommend anyone looking at the Silk line or the Acute take a look at the Curve.

I did mention I tried it anally. Although I am a man, I do not have a prostate. Curve is easy to insert anally and is the perfect size and shape to stroke a P spot.

Thanks! It's true that it seems like it would be, but it's always nice to hear from someone who is actually using it for that particular stimulation
