Customer Service

I have recently gotten back into my sex toys after being away for a long while. I have a question for the community at large.
A few years ago when I started looking at sex toys as a way to spice up married life I ordered quite a few things from a very popular site. Long story short 3 of the 5 things that I had ordered were defective. So I sent them back. 2 of the 3 when I got replacements were defective. So I sent them back. After this second round of defective product were sent back, I was told by the company that I would no longer be allowed to buy product from them because it was costing them more than I paid originally for them to ship the items. I had not kept the items for more than a few days before they stopped working. Now my question is do you think this was fair? Is it wrong to expect quality products no matter what the product is? I felt like they were saying to me that because I wasn't spending tons of money with them that I wasn't important enough to keep as a customer. WHat are your feelings about this. This poor customer service turned me off sex toys for a long time( pardon the pun).

Wow, I definitely don't think that was fair. To me, if a business wants to keep me as a customer they do what they can (within reason) to keep me happy. If I give them my hard earned money for a toy that's supposed to work, I don't think it's unreasonable to expect a toy that works. If it stops working after 6 months, I'd probably let it go, but after just a few days seems like a defective product that I shouldn't be out money for.

Thankfully, I've never had a problem like that here, which is a huge part of why I love Eden. I've had a few things come defective, and the fine folks in customer service were really great about making it right and exchanging the defective item for one that worked.

That sounds awful. I would not buy any of that companies products. If you want someone to continue buying your products you don't give them defective ones and not replace them. That is insane. Them products must of had a bad batch when made, seems unfair that the company did not replace what was their fault.

Eden is awesome with replacing.

I looked through the forums on here and Eden really does seem to be helpful as well as wanting input from the customers. I have looked for a site like this for a while. I think I will be very happy here. The community has been so welcoming so far.

My decision to get the toys that I had picked had a little to do with the price of the products and the fact that I was new at it so was picking things that weren't so expensive until I got the hang of it. I didn't want to pick a $100 toy my first time out without knowing what to expect. I feel like whether I was paying $5 to the company or $500 I should have been treated with more respect than they showed me. I haven't shopped with them since and I told my friends not to shop with them either.

Oh I completely agree. I was talking about what I would personally do if I had a toy stop working after 6 months, and even that depends on what it is. I absolutely agree that whether you're paying $5 or $500 to a company, you should be treated with respect because you're a paying customer.
