#AskEden - My order was shipped yesterday only to be taken back - why?

So yesterday I had finally gotten my free gift for the newsletter subscription ordered. When I first started to use Eden, they were out of stock so I never got one. Now, I am not so new to this site and I've already made 8-9 orders with Eden with no problems. AFTER I received a confirmation email stating that my item had been approved AND shipped I never got my tracking number sent so I sent a support ticket asking them to send it to me.

Tell me why all of a sudden, they say the item is not in stock and I'll have to wait another THREE WEEKS to get it?? It supposedly was already shipped and as of yesterday, the item was in stock. How does this mistake even get made? I did pay MY OWN MONEY for the shipping so now I just have to eat it for three freaking weeks? What the hell?

I mean, I know it's free and all-but I also pay my own good money just to order items so that I can review them for this website-so I must say it's a bit frustrating. I am kind of disappointed about this.

I'm sorry you're disappointed, but this sounds like a note that should go to a staff member... rather than being posted here.

Simply submit a ticket and you will get the answer you need. I myself am awaiting an item from my free 70+ order gift. Though, it was initially stated that the item was not shipped with the rest of my order and is on back order. So if it is stating it was shipped but not not, simply submit a ticket and someone will get back to you. I see you already have, so now you just have to await a response from them. Administration will know better than us.

I am so sorry this has happened to you! Can they not substitute the product? Maybe send you something that is equal in value and quality? When I subscribed to the news letter I also was placing an order. I used my points for my order and shipping and got it when I was suppose to. However in my order there was a product I was not expecting and assumed it was the free gift but looking back I wonder if it was a mix up or a substitution. As for the shipping charge I learned early on to piggyback my orders with my review products or to save my ef point gift card amounts so I can use them to pay for my shipping charges. I really hope that this works out for you soon.

This. If it's back ordered they can usually cancel the item if you'd prefer to order something else.

If any selected merchandise is temporarily out of stock, your credit card will not be charged until the merchandise is shipped to you. Please note: Any items not in stock when you place your order will be shipped immediately when received from the manufacturer at no additional cost.

I've had a similar thing happen. Sucks but nothing can be done, especially with the storm going on right now.
