#AskEden - Return free assignment

Contributor: Zombirella Zombirella
I was wondering what happens if you get an item for a free assignment and would like to return it if possible?
Specifically a lingerie piece that was only worn so far to try on. Are you only able to return it for a different size? Or can you exchange it for something else?
The problem is that it is a bit sheer and didn't appear so in the product photos and that wasn't what I was wanting.
But since it was my free monthly assignment I'm not sure if this is even possible.

I believe you can. To make sure I would email JR.

Email JR and he can work with you on this. I know you can if it does not fit or the item is defective.

That's a really good question. I know that I had to return an assignment but that is because it was defective so I was sent sent another of the same toy. I'd think that for sizing issues, that would be fine too. I've never tried returning an assignment product just because I didn't like the way it looked though (more sheer than the stock photo). Personally, I wouldn't return a free assignment asking for something else. I'd only return the product if it was the wrong size or defective... If I paid for it though, that's another story. but that's just me I actually think that would make a great review, letting us know that it's not like the stock photo, what you dislike about it, etc. Anyway, I hope everything works out for you!

I'm thinking I would possibly like to try a different size. I'm not too sure that it fits like it should. I mean it fits, but the back just doesn't look right to me.

I sent a support ticket, but should I send an email too?

I *think* so. You should open a support ticket though. I've had to return an item (a dress) once and during the support ticket process, you're able to choose and describe the exact problem. You recieve a quick response as well so I'd say that's the best way to go.

OK. I see your last comment. You've already sent a ticket. I think you should wait. You will recieve a response so I don't think a new message about the same thing would be necessary, but if it isn't resolved soon or the ticket response is not helpful, send a message to whoever's in charge of that area.

I will just wait for their response to my ticket Despite the sheerness, I do like the piece but I think a different size would work better based on the back of the top, how it looks on me.

I would probably send a message to JR since he's the review man. I'd let him know that you already submitted a support ticket when you message him. He's pretty darn quick to respond too so you'll have things figured out in no time : )

Thanks for posting this, because I've wondered this myself and didn't know the answer.

Yep, email Jr before doing anything else. And he will tell you exactly what to do. This applies for any item you get for assignment.
