USPS Shipping

Contributor: Tagmstr Tagmstr
I always have to ship with USPS because I have all my packages arrive at the Post Office in town. To my surprise, my packages normally get here pretty quick (3 days is the average, unless it is a holiday).

I've noticed that everytime it is just a normal box, no stickers, nothing on it. My box always arrives in perfect condition. So perfect in fact that it looks like I picked up the box directly from Eden Fantasys, without going through the USPS.

However sometimes I notice that there is a fragile sticker on my package. I'm assuming it's because of the liquids I order, like lubericant etc. Besides the liquids, there is nothing breakable in there. But when this is the case my box is so bent, twisted and destroyed it looked like someone gave it to professional football players to punt around! I swear USPS tries to break your shit!

Has anyone else who gets their packages delivered through USPS encountered this problem? I want to say something to my Post Office, but I'm sure that they cant/wont do anything about it. With my luck, if I do say something to them, I'm sure my boxs will come even more destroyed than they have been. I shouldn't compain cause theres nothign breakable in there, as of yet.....but the first time they break my items, I'm going to be pretty pissed!

I always use USPS to ship things and I have never had an issue. If it is an item that is a bit expensive, I put insurance on it. I have actualy had more problems with Fed Ex when I used them, they a few things that i was shipping, and then it was a pain in the rear end to get them to pay for it!

Normally USPS is awesome. It's only when my box is labeled as fragile

USPS has always been wonderful with my packages. It's UPS that destroys mine. They also like to leave my packages in the middle of my driveway. They don't actually bring it to my house, and that drives me crazy. I never get UPS to ship my stuff. I mean, USPS gets it here in 2 days, so I really don't need UPS anyways. I just use it when I order stuff on a Friday, because they get it to me by Monday instead of Tuesday.

I haven't had that happen with Eden purchases but I have for big envelopes.. Do Not Bend is written in huge letters and where do I find the envelope, folded in half in my tiny little po box. If it continues to happen I would report it. Make sure to take pictures of the boxes from now on.

I normally have never experienced anything like this from USPS ordering through EF. My packages always look like they are in pristine condition. However, FedEx has made me laugh on occasion. More specifically at my job I had to send off a package as a return, I put on the box that is was fragile and also arrows to determine it needs to be standing up, I even wrote "This End Must Be Up". I explained to the driver, this product will leak out oil if it is not placed upright. So what does he do when he takes the package from me? Sits it on its side, I looked at him and said "Your kidding me right?" His response was, "huh?". Got to love people.

I notice this too and I also yelled at my mailman the one day. I opened the door to him throwing my package on the porch and it smacked the door. It had my moonshine butt plug in it and that is glass. I was so pist. Luckily he didn't break anything. Now I find my boxes placed nicely on my front step.

At least I'm not alone! Like I said if it doesn't say fragile it comes shipped perfect but that fragile sticker is basically a big kick me sign and they take full advantage.

Huh, that's kind of odd. UPS is notorious for playing football with packages across the warehouse but I've never had any issues with the post office.

Well, actually that's kind of a lie. This week my postman marked my package as undeliverable as addressed. Maybe he misses me harassing him on an almost daily basis for my packages? Whatever the reason, he did deliver it and I thought it was kind of shady.

I've never had any issues, but I don't have a po box. They come directly to the house and honk at me to come out and get it. With that said, they've always come nicely packaged. Unrelated, I did have him deliver a book yesterday off of swap.com to the wrong address and I told him about it when I was getting my EF package today and he went up the road and got it for me and came back with it.

I had one package that looked pretty damaged, but there was nothing breakable or ruined in it, other than that I have fairly good luck with them.

My next day package from UPS just arrived an hour ago and it was in great shape, nothing broken inside or dented/leaking.
