I'm yet to try EF's customer service, but being available during the whole week seems like a great idea. Waiting over the weekend for the answer to a question is no fun.

If the customer service phone line falls outside of your convenient hours, you can always submit a support ticket, which they'll handle on the next business day.
I work at night, so none of these hours are convenient for me, so I submit a lot of support tickets and find that my answers are just fine.
